Mortal shook her head.

Seraph logs on and stretches a bit. He had been on vacation for awhile and unable to access his net. It was good to be back.

*Noctis obtains a scroll of The Lovers.*

Noct always thought the name of that item was funny. A scroll called The Lovers always seemed like it was some 'ye olde school' porn mag. That said, she begins to head over for the dungeon.

Mortal shrugged, "Alright, lets wait."

Before he made a decision on whether to solo or not Seraph decided to take a stroll and see if anyone was looking for a third or wanted to form a party.

*A Wavemaster in brown & gray was standing on the central bridge. Running down that same bridge is a Wavemaster with blond hair & pointy ears wearing little more than a white bikini & a wizard hat. Near the Recorder is a Blademaster blue-gray armor, a scimitar, a white cape, & an antlered helmet. Finally, at the item shop is a Heavy Axeman with bulky green armor.*

Euryale: Well, I think after this dungeon, the 2 of you will have officially graduated from being newbies.

Thiera: Funny, I don't really feel like an expert.

*A large icicle jutting up from the ground with a White Cherry nearby comes into view beside a Magic Portal.*

*As Noctis is running, she passes an icicle sticking out of the ground with a White Cherry below it.*

*Monudon runs over and picks up the white cherry, the turns towards the portal*

She goes and gets the cherry, and continues on her way.

"There is always more to learn," Sab said, "But at least you'll understand more than just the basics now."

"Oh, wonderful," Hector perked up, looking at Luna. "If I am so stupid, why did I receive the least damage of all of us and deliver a killing blow?"

Luna: I did the most damage. You were just a coward who killed a weakened opponent.

*In the time it took for her to grab the White Cherry, the portal has already opened, spewing out a pair of Cyclo Sharks.*

*When Noctis reaches the Dungeon icon, she sees a large nautilis shell sticking up in the sand. The "head hole" is an open cave flanked by wisps of yellow plasma. Also nearby is a boulder with 3 White Cherries on it.*

Thiera: Always something more to learn? What things don't you know, Sab?

"Call me a coward if you like, but you almost died and I did not," Hector laughed.

"Anyone looking to form a party?"

"How skills work," Sab said, "I mean, I get spells, but I couldn't tell you how a Twin Blade uses skills. Plus I'm not really sure about Grunties. I mean, I know about them, but I don't have any practical knowledge."

Noct takes the cherries then continues towards the cave.

Luna: That can be rectified.

*Luna points her spear in his face.*

Euryale: Well, that's understandable, Wavemasters can't use physical attack skills.

*The Cave Dungeon theme begins playing as she walks down a flight of stairs into...well, a cave. With another cave leading deeper, I suppose.*

*The Blademaster & the Heavy Axeman pretty much stare at him like he's a derp. The Wavemaster on the bridge pointedly walks in the other direction. The half-naked Wavemaster turns around.*

Hokuto: Partyyyyyy!

Noct walks down the cave then I guess, kicking over any skeletons, or dungeon appropriate 'item boxes' she comes across.

"I thought about making another character, but I've always kind of liked magic more than just fighting," Sab said.

OOC: Oh hey its Hokuto. Good choice. Seraph is replacing Rune as the Epitaph information seeker and general poetry/myth nut.

Seraph waved, "Yo" before walking up to Hokuto. "Party?"

Hector stepped back and raised his cutlass, "By all means, attack me. I shall show you the difference in skill if you can't already see it."

Zalera: Maybe we shouldn't--

*Luna steps forward, smacking the sword aside with the side of her spear. She then turns it aside & swipes it across Hector's smug face.*

Zalera: --Fight.

Hokuto: I don't know how!!!

*Hokuto, for some inexplicable reason, crosses her arms & throws her head back smugly.*

Euryale: It just seems like it'd be kind of boring, not being able to get up in the enemy's face.

Thiera: I don't know, I think...it's like Jenga.

Euryale: What?

Thiera: You carefully select the ideal block from the tower & remove it. To your opponent, it doesn't look like you're doing much, but you're slowly eliminating the structural integrity. Then, when they go to make their move, the whole thing comes crashing down. That's what I figured playing a Wavemaster would be like. You watch, & pick at your enemy's weak points, until they just fall apart catastrophically.

Euryale: ...That's kind of disturbing, honestly.

Thiera: I'm sorry.

*This strategy works until the next room, which has a skeleton with nothing in it & a 2 way intersection: Left & forward.*

Sab beamed, "No, no, that is cool!"

Mortal just chuckled a bit.

She goes left.

Hector took a jumping step backwards and evaded the swipe. As he dodged, he rocked back on his heel and then jumped forward, lifting his cutlass and bringing it down in a direct slash for Luna's head.
"This is unsightly, but you are just too annoying!"

Thiera: Thank you. I thought so.

Euryale: Anyway...should we keep heading north?

*The skeleton gives her nothing once again, the chest contains a scroll of The Death. Going through the only exit reveals a room with a stone pillar & another skeleton with nothing. This one has 2 exits, north & straight.*

*Luna maneuvers to block the slash with the shaft of her spear. She then shifts her weight, spinning the spear into his torso 3 times.*

Zalera: Seriously, guys, a party is supposed to work together.

"Sure," Mortal said, "Lets get going."

Noct goes north.

Hector withdrew the blade as soon as his slash was blocked and defended himself from the following three hits.

*Shit doesn't work that way, he should consider himself lucky to have blocked the last hit. When he does, Luna steps back to clear the sword, then steps forward, to thrust at his chest.*

*The next room is a short, dead end corridor with a Magic Portal. The Magic Portal opens to spit out 2 mimics.*

Euryale: So, they aren't faking this time?

*Euryale draws the sword from her back as Thiera lets loose with a Rue Rom.*

*North is a short corridor with a Magic Portal & one exit. When the Magic Portal opens, it just leaves behind a treasure chest.*
