Old Ones Return

Renamon jumps from wherever she may have been hiding at the time, a tree or something to the roof of the truck and from there the building, grabbing ledges in both hands to climb up and push off.

Kylie:<LUNAMON!>

*Kylie runs over to Lunamon, while grabbing her D-Power and taking out her cards*

<Digi-Modify! Digivolution activate!>

*Lunamon enters digivolution, re-emerging as Lekismon*

Lekismon:<We just want to talk! Please let us explain.>

Digmon<Go ahead. Explain to me why you're destroying the Digital World!>

*He swings a fist at Lekismon, activating the drills.*

D<Yeah...I got nothin'.>

*When Renamon arrives, Euryale is in a boxing stance, facing an Angemon.*

E"Just relax, we didn't come up here to fight. Whoa!"

*She jerks her head & upper body aside when Angemon jabs at her face with his staff.*

E"What the Hell, that's not relaxing!"

Angemon<No, you came to our world to fight those who could not fight back.>

*Meanwhile, Agumon flies down so fast that he puts a dent in the truck when he lands.*

A<Come on, we've gotta get up there, fast!>

Taiyo and Hitomi with Salamon in her arms head up to the truck, Hitomi passing Salamon up to Taiyo when she gets to the top, so she can climb up.

Renamon: "And you sink to their level and do the same?"

Renamon unleashes a Diamond Storm at Angemon.

*Euryale turns to Renamon, pointing her thumb at herself.*

E"Hey! I didn't do anything! And I can so fight back! Let's get both of those straight right now!"

*Angemon spins his staff about to block the diamonds.*

Angemon<She's right. About this being a fight, in any case. You came to intercept me. I was planning to destroy this "Hypnos." Nothing else.>

*Agumon grabs Taiyo under the shoulders.*

A<I'll come back for you 2.>

*He takes flight.*

Not being one of those talk during a fight types, Renamon rushes Angemon, a pair of Kohenkyo clones accompany her. One jumps while the other two circle around.

Lekismon:<What? We're nor doing anything of the sort.>

*Lekismon ducks and leaps backward*

*As Taiyo reaches the roof, Agumon heads back down for Hitomi & Salamon. Angemon does a spinning attack that produces a tornado, blowing away Renamon & her clones.*

*...Right into Thiera. Digmon then attempts to jump on top of them.*

Lekismon:<Sorry!>

*Lekismon jumps forward and uses Moon Night Kick*

Taiyo: "Renamon, Digi-Modify. Aero Wing!"

Taiyo swipes the Aero Wing card through her D-Power and Renamon promptly unleashes the attack on Angemon.

*The attack slightly rips one of Angemon's own wings, so he points his glowing fist at Renamon.*

A<Hand of Fate!>

*Meanwhile, Agumon arrives with Hitomi & Salamon.*

*Digmon pretty effortlessly swats Lekismon out of the sky & lands on her. It then attacks her with all of its drills. Thiera holds her hand out to Kylie.*

T"Give me the Digivolution card you used!"

*Lekismon just Tear Arrow on Digimon at close range. Kylie hands the card to Thiera, then takes out her other cards*

Kylie:<Digi-Modify! Aero-Wing Activate!>

*Lekismon attempts to push Digmon off using Aero Wing*

Renamon swaps places with Angemon via Kohenkyo, putting it in the path of the attack.

Hitomi: "Salamon, Digivolve."

Hitomi swipes the Digivolution card through her D-Power. Salamon goes through the whole eggy thing and emerges as Gatomon.

*Lekismon does not have the leverage to fire off a Tear Arrow. When Digmon sees the wings form, he immediately stabs into one, and weathers the attack from the other one. Thiera swipes the card, at which point a feminine voice announces DemiDevimon's Digivolution. The Digimon becomes surrounded with a blue-violet gridline aura, which shatters to reveal Wizardmon. Wizardmon holds up a hand & shoots a stream of fire into the eye it wounded earlier, forcing Digmon to shield itself with its claws.*

Wizardmon<Use Fated Aura, and we may be able to crack his shell!>

T"I can't do that, it might hurt him!"

*For starters, it doesn't work that way, and secondly, Angemon feinted the attack. Now he lets loose with it, smacking Renamon real good right in the face. While his back is turned, Euryale aims a roundhouse kick that plants her heel into the base of his spine, which knocks him slightly off-balance. To keep the pressure on him, Agumon takes to the air, firing a trio of Pepper Breaths at his wings.*

Kylie:<He's trying to hurt us!>

*Since using that card seems like a pretty good idea, Kylie takes out her copy*

<Digi-Modify! Radiant Fate Activate!>

*Lekismon uses Aero Wing again, while struggling to get free*

Gatomon rushes Angemon and aims a Neko Kick at side of his head.

*Agumon fires a Pepper Breath at the other side of his head. Since Angemon is still being pummeled, Euryale quickly roots herself & jabs him twice in the back. In response, he lifts his leg & kicks her in the stomach, sending her sprawling backwards. Angemon then tries to get everyone off of his ass by doing the tornado attack again.*

*The attack puts some hairline fractures in Digmon's face plate, so he backs off to escape the attack, only for Wizardmon to swing his staff, sending a large lightning bolt into his good eye.*

Gatomon backs off while Renamon attacks with another Aero Wing.

*Lekismon uses Tear Arrow, aiming at the plate fractures*

*Angemon is blown back, his wings shredded. However, it looks to have mostly just pissed him off as he makes his way towards Renamon.*

*The arrow obliterates half of the Digmon's head. It twitches slightly, before dissolving into data.*

*Lekismon looks at Wizardmon*

Lekismon:<That could have went..better.>

*Kylie turns to Thiera, cringing as she's expecting to get yelled at*

Renamon attacks with another Aero Wing while Gatomon comes up at Angemon from behind.

Wizardmon<We had no choice but to destroy it. We couldn't talk it down or knock it out. I guess we could have retreated, but you didn't want it to destroy the subway, did you?>

T"There had to have been another way! Couldn't you have used your magic to restrain it?"

Wizardmon<No, it would have broken free. Besides, no one absorbed its data, it will reappear in the Digital World.>

T"As an infant Digimon with no memories. We might as well have killed him, we took his life away...I feel sick."

Wizardmon<It picked a fight with us, it lost, we won. Get over it.>

*Angemon dodges to the side & fires a Hand of Fate at Agumon, destroying the Hyper Wings. He then makes a dash for Euryale while she's re-swiping the card.*

Lekismon:<What would you done over? I mean if you could go back in time? It seemed pretty clear he wasn't about to reason with us.>

Gatomon stops and jumps back to avoid the attack that'd be coming her way.

Hitomi: "Digi-Modify. Cocytus Breath."

Hitomi swipes the card through her D-Power and Gatomon unleashes the attack at Angemon.
