Cabin in the Woods II

Sab smiled, "Yea, lets go." She then got up, and headed to the door, opening it for Aroma, "You look great by the way."

*From what Eduj can see, it's mostly blood on that bush.*

*Inside the cabin, Azuma's knife disappears inside of the Shadow Man, gone forever. His wrist twists in some sickening position. There's a blinding pain & a loud cracking noise. In his hazy vision, he can see tendrils of shadow protruding from the monster & into his wrist. His arm is jerked violently again, this time dislocating his shoulder.*

A"Thank you. You look wonderful as well. And you're so nice. I never thought I'd get the gentleman routine."

*Aroma giggles, before heading out.*

*Monu, Cameron, and Eve all exit the cabin. Tirea turns to Euryale*

Tirea:<Are you alright?>

Monu:<Are we all here?>

Eve:<No, Azuma is still inside.>

*Monu heads back up to help*

Azuma shouts in pain and tries to pull back.

In the cabin, Mimiru grabs a chair, following the screams and the light from Azuma's flashlight she returns to the hall, swinging the chair at Shadow Man.

Sab giggled too, "Well, I never thought I'd be the one to give it, but one of us had to do it."

*The chair explodes, showering her with sharp debris & knocking her back. Azuma manages to pull back, but his flashlight cracks.*

N"Let's go. Now."

T"But there are still people back in the cabin."

N"Not our problem. They chose to attack it, even though we've seen what it does to people who do. We can't save them from their own stupidity."

*Now in line at the cafeteria.*

"So, what are you thinking of eating?"

"Asshole," Hector managed to splutter, before a surge of vomit and presumably blood burst up his throat. He slapped his hands to his mouth and kept himself from spewing. Eduj began stumbling further into the forest, feeling faint. Astarte moved to his side and supported him before he fell over. Stefan stood at the doorway of the cabin and peered inside, waiting for the others to come out. He continued to mutter and whisper to himself.

"I was thinking pop tarts or something, not really hungry," Sab said.

Eve:<Where should we head?>

*Monu slowly steps into the cabin*

<Azuma, Mimiru? Still alive in there?>

Taiyo: "We were able to get out because of him."

Mimiru: "Damn it. Don't you die on me, mutt!"

Azuma backs away from the Shadow Man.

Azuma: "Wouldn't...dream of it."

N"No, we were able to get out because we were smart enough to use the door. Besides, if we stay here, he's liable to come back to finish off Euryale."

*Nero starts stomping through the underbrush towards where Vanessa said that pond was. Thiera seems like she's trying to argue, but can't think of any decent points, so she just resigns to following Nero.*

*While he's busy gawking at it like a fucking idiot, yet again, the Shadow Man lifts its arm & casually blows him back into the wall. His head hits the window & it shatters. Meanwhile, a tendril of shadow snakes out of its shoulder & lashes at Mimiru's waist.*

A"I kind of feel like eggs."

Azuma throws the flashlight at the Shadow Man and makes for climbing out the window.

Mimiru backs off.

Hector, Eduj and Astarte followed after him. Stefan seemed highly conflicted, not knowing whether to follow the others or go in to help bring the others out. He took a few steps away from the cabin, then turned back and ran the the door to yell inside, "Everybody is leaving! If you can move just run!"

*The cabin now goes dark because of whatever happened to Azuma's flashlight. Azuma manages to get halfway through the window fairly quickly, scraping his hip bones on the edge of said window. His hair stands on end, & somehow he can just tell the Shadow Man is getting closer.*

*Mimiru, meanwhile, is left in the dark, both literally & figuratively. She does not get the slightest indication of what is happening to or around her.*

*When next Stefan looks behind him, the others are nowhere to be seen. In fact, he can't see the trees or the cabin at all, it's so dark.*

"Uh, guys?" Stefan turned a full revolution and listened for their footsteps. "Wait up!"

Azuma squirms and struggles, groaning and grunting as he works his way through.

Mimiru keeps backing away, heading towards the door.

Mimiru: "Where are you, Azuma?"

*Through sheer luck, she manages to stagger through it, but trips on the threshold. Azuma finally pushes his way through the window, though he feels the sting of several broken glass cuts down his torso.*

*All Stefan hears is Mimiru's yelling for Azuma.*

"Scrambled, or fried?" Sab asked.

Azuma struggles to his feet and makes his way around the cabin. Mimiru gets to her feet and backs away from the cabin.

Mimiru: "Don't be dead."

"Damn it, damn it, damn it," Stefan looked towards Mimiru's voice. "They left us behind. Hurry up! We have to catch up!"

"I kind of like sunny-side up. They're like little eyes wishing me good morning."

*The door & the window are literally right next to each other, so Mimiru & Azuma plow into each other. Stefan feels something wrap around his neck & throw him back into the cabin. Dazed against the wall, he feels his neck start to blister. The chain of the cross breaks & it clinks uselessly against the floor.*

"That you poke, and break with a fork or toast," Sab said.

Stefan let out a long groan and lifted his hands to his neck.

Azuma: "Wasn't I in the hallway?"

Mimiru: "Shut the hell up and go."

Mimiru begins to drag Azuma towards the woods.

*Eve, Tirea, and Cameron had followed Nero, while Monu had remained near the cabin. Monu runs to help Mimiru*

Monu:<Glad to see you're both alright! Where's Stefan?>
