Cabin in the Woods II

Hector shrugged and followed them. Eduj moved to follow, but Hector had him stay and watch over Astarte.

*Aroma backs up, looking red. She tries to say something several times, but just stammers incoherently.*

T"First thing I want to do is check on Taiyo and Euryale."

*So she opens their door. A particularly long shadow is cast over their bed, & Thiera & Roatha have a sharp intake of breath.*

N"It's just from the handle."

R"But...I could swear it looked humanoid...if only for just a second...."

Azuma: "I'm sure we're all just a little jumpy."

Taiyo stirs slightly, bothered by assholes talking in the doorway.

"Honestly, anything is possible in this cabin right now," Hector said. "We can't possibly be too cautious."

*Eve, Tirea, and Cameron follow along*

Eve:<Yes, and not having slept in a while does not help.>

T"I'm afraid to leave them alone."

R"Do we really have any other choice?"

Tirea:<Someone could stay and watch.>

*Monu walks up behind her*

Monu:<I think that would make us stalkers.>

R"Watch what? We wouldn't be able to see anything."

Cameron:<I could lend someone my flashlight, but I agree with Monu, it'd be kind of weird.>

Azuma: "Do we really have any other options? At least someone might hear something if there's anything. Not like there hasn't been any weird noises going about."

N"And do what about it? Besides, what happens when they wake up & someone's creeping over them?"

R"We can wake them up and have them come with us?"

T"Euryale really needs sleep if she's going to get better."

"Wake the other one up, then," Hector shrugged. "She can look after Euryale while we search."

Azuma: "Well, if you're the one creeping over them, there'd certainly be a problem."

Taiyo stirs some more and sits up, looking at the assholes talking in the doorway.

Taiyo: "What are you doing?"

R"We're checking the cabin to see if there's anything in it. Thiera is worried about leaving you alone."

Taiyo: "Oh. I think we'll be fine."

"Keep an eye open, though," Hector warning, getting sick of just standing in the hallway.

T"Are you sure that you don't want us to leave someone behind to keep watch?"

Taiyo: "If you want."

Hector didn't really want to hang around awkwardly in their room, so he did not volunteer.

No one is saying or doing anything, Taiyo speaks up.

Taiyo: "Would you mind staying, Mimi?"

Mimiru: "Uh, sure."

Sab flushes red herself, entirely embarrassed by her actions, "I'm sorry. I just, I got overexcited."

Cameron:<Do you need a flashlight?>

N"We need the lights to search the cabin."

T"But what are they going to do if they run into the Shadow Man?"

N"Scream, cry, & beg for mercy?"

*Aroma leans back in, putting a hand on Sab's shoulder, & looks her in the eye with a questioning, hesitant gaze.*

Cameron:<If the shadow man gets in again, we're probably screwed one way or another.>

"How can Mimiru keep watch for the Shadow Man if she can't see shit, Nero?" Hector asked.
