*Cameron moves to check the closet*

"Aroma, is something wrong," Sab asked, "It was rude, wasn't it? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up."

Taiyo helps get Euryale seated on the floor.

*He is greeted by a few spare blankets.*

T"Say. Don't you think it's odd that we finally manage to contact emergency services, and suddenly a new monster shows up to kill anyone who comes to rescue us?"

N"Now that you mention it, yeah. Especially since the Shadow could probably kill anyone who came after us itself, if that's what it wanted."

"No, it's just--"

*Her voice quavers & she can't bring herself to say anything, again.*

Azuma: "So what, it wants us to stay?"

"What is it?" Sab asked, a bit worried, "Please tell me."

Hector found his lighter in a pocket and dimly lit up the area around him, then went to find his room and look inside.

T"I don't know. Can we be sure they're even related?"

*Hector is painfully aware that the sphere of light doesn't extend much farther than the space he occupies.*

"I...do you like...this?"

Azuma: "Well, they're both monsters, so they have that going for them."

"What's 'this'?" Sab asked.

He extended his arm out as far as he could and put one hand on the wall, then started moving around the room.

*As his hand hits the wall, he starts to hear murmurings in the room.*

T"But where did they come from?"

N"I think we can argue about monsters later. For now, we need to worry about keeping them away & not collapsing from exhaustion & thirst."

"This. Here. Now. Us."

Azuma: "Also I'd like to be put back together and you have the first aid kit and know how to use it."

Hector backed right out of the room, "I think something is in here."

"Of course I do," Sab said, a bit worried now, "Do you? I mean, there is no where else I'd rather be than here with you. I'm sorry for messing everything up. I'm not good at this..." Sab buried her face in her hands, just about too embarrassed to live.

OOC: No she is not.

*Aroma looks up, hopeful.*

"Nowhere you'd rather be? Than with me?"

T"I don't know what you want me to do about it. I need the light."

*As she says this, she puts the lantern down & digs out her first aid kit.*

T"I'm going to need a lot of leverage to put your shoulder back. You'll have to lay down on your uninjured side."

Azuma: "This sounds like it'll hurt worse than the initial injury."

Despite this, he complies.

Hector looked up and down the hallway for other people, "There was murmuring in this room. Someone bring a flashlight."

Sab mirrors Aroma, looking up, hopeful, "Of course. I really like you, Aroma."

T"Oh, no, of course not."

*She grabs his arm & jams it down roughly into its socket several times, grunting with the effort, before it finally pops loudly back into place. She sighs, breathing heavily.*

T"Now...I think...your wrist...is broken...so...have to...wrap...it up...."

N"We're kinda busy right now."

*She sighs in relief.*

"I'm really glad to hear that. I really like you, too."

"That great," Sab said, "I was a bit nervous for a second. I thought I might have messed everything up. That'd be awful." Sab leaned forward slightly, and rests her head in her hand, "So, what do you want to do after college?"

Azuma: "You fucking liar! I'd have kept my arm mangled if I knew it would've hurt that much."

Mimiru: "Stop being such a wuss. That's the least of your worries."

Azuma: "Fine, whatever. My wrist is broke? You broke my wrist!"

Mimiru: "I'll break your jaw if you don't shut up."

Hector waited for someone with a better light to finish what they were doing and come over to him. Astarte was almost asleep.

T"I assume that the Shadow broke it."

*She begins tying his wrist with gauze.*

T"Now, you won't be able to move this hand, or its fingers for a while."

E"Do you think a branch will work to barricade the door?"

N"No, that guy's just stupid. Why do you think he's all banged up like this?"
