Cabin in the Woods II

Eve:<We may have to postpone our pond trip.>

*Eve gestures to where the eyes had disappeared*

<At least it does not appear to be the shadow man.>

"I feel the same way," Sab said, "This has been so wonderful, I just want this to last forever."

Azuma: "Not the first time anyone saw those eyes, is it?"

Taiyo puts her empty can down and lays down beside Euryale.

"Actually, my bag is still in the room," Hector said, turning his attention back to the hall. "If somebody with a light can follow me, I can get it. I'm pretty sure there are bandages inside."

*Everyone looks at Azuma in confusion. Then Thiera turns to stare at the door.*

"It doesn't seem like it's trying to get in."

*It would appear they are walking aimlessly through the downtown area.*

"Well...we can't make it last forever, but I guess we could do the next best thing."

Azuma: "What? Could've swears I saw those kinds of things on our first day or so out here. Or I'm going crazy from cabin fever."

"Whats that?" Sab asked, looking at Aroma.

*Cameron nods and follows Hector*

Eve:<Odd, but I suppose it's possible. These creatures seem not to have the ability to enter as the shadow man did.>

T"From what Azuma described, that other one sounds pretty strong."

"Pick up where we leave off. You know, on another day."

Monu:<Strong is an understatement. That one could easily force it's way in.>

Sab smiled at the implication, "You want to go out again?!"

"Yes. Please."

*After sitting around for a while, watching the window & the flickering shadows, Thiera sighs uncomfortably.*

T"I think we should turn the lantern off."

Eve:<Yes, we must conserve power.>

Hector retrieved the bag, and the bandages with it.

Azuma: "Don't see why not. So what's the agenda for...today? Tomorrow?"

T"I don't know. We need to wait for Euryale to heal before we try escaping. We might want to get some water, but it'll be hard with all of these monsters running around."

*She turns off the lantern. It is now impossible to see one's hand in front of one's face.*

Azuma: "The hell did it do that she can barely walk and I end up with a dislocated arm and broken wrist?"

Sab looks like a little girl on Christmas morning as she smiles brightly, "Oh, this is great!" She didn't even notice that she was bouncing on her toes.

"Oh!" Hector exclaimed as the light suddenly disappeared. He turned his head to face where he remembered Cameron was. "Well, lead on."

*Cameron leads him back with the flashlight*

T"Well...I'm not really sure how yet, but I've noticed that it seems to cause a lot of small-scale, internal damage. What did it feel like when it attacked you?"

*Aroma smiles at her, positively giddy.*

Azuma: "Like it was going to rip my arm off. I think that might have been the idea."

*Eve and Tirea silently watch*

And so Hector came back to the living room. He almost tripped over Astarte, who was still asleep on the floor. He knelt down and quickly discovered who it was and that they were still breathing.
"Um, should we move her? Astarte is asleep on the floor."

T"Where else is there to sleep? More importantly, what did it feel like when the Shadow attacked you?"
