A"Oh, but I couldn't!"

R"Nonsense. Dorumon, you wanna head back & ask for their sizes?"

Dorumon sees Renamon sitting by her lonesome in a phonebooth next to one with steamed up windows as if it's being hotboxed.

Taiyo: "I'm glad it's you I'm stuffed in a phonebooth with."

Taiyo squirms under the sheets. She puts her arms around Euryale who can feel they're bare.

E"Me too."

*She puts her arm around Taiyo as Dorumon waddles over & knocks on the door of the steamed up one.*

R"Okay, so that just leaves hooks & bait."

Hibiki finishes with the crabs.

"Need any help?"

Azuma: "Afraid I can't help with that."

Azuma looks at his Digivice, the time saying 3:33 PM DST.

Azuma: "Burning daylight. You sure that stuff's cooked? Hypothermia is one thing, but food poisoning is another."

Taiyo reluctantly reaches over to open the door, letting the steam out and overall making it an unpleasant place to be in.

Taiyo: "Yes...what was your name again?"

"Give it time, I just finished skewering them."

Eve:<Couldn't we use some crab as bait?>

D<Dorumon. Roatha wants to know your foot sizes.>

E"...What?"

D<The size of your feet.>

E"Okay, what I really meant was, 'why?'"

D<Oh. Why didn't you just say so? That one girl, the other redhead, she says she's gonna make you some socks."

E"Oh. That makes a lot more sense."

R"Maybe, but that raises the question of how many fish eat crabs. If we could get one of the small fish, that would probably be best. Alright, I'm going to try to make a hook out of some of the wood. If that doesn't work, I have a few other ideas. Where are those sticks?"

*Aroma, meanwhile, walks out towards the tide, looking to see if she can see any seaweed.*

Why yes, she can see seaweed. And little fish as well as another crab.

Taiyo: "Aww, that's so nice of her. I'm a size six."

Hibiki tosses Roatha some of the sticks, "Here."

<Here, save those for the fire. I collected these to be fishing poles.>

*Eve passes the fishing rod like sticks to Roatha. Cameron walks out to join Aroma*

Cameron:<See anything edible?>

A"Yeah, I see some seaweed. Maybe we can fish some out with a long stick."

*Nearby, Roatha looks through the sticks for one with a bit of a hook shape somewhere. When he finds one that looks sturdy, he breaks it off, & uses his knife to make it thinner, & sharper.*

R"Oh, that's right, seaweed is used in sushi, isn't it?"

A"Yes, marine seaweed is. Most freshwater algae are toxic.

Azuma: "If worse comes to worse, we could eat seaweed."

Taiyo closes the door when Dorumon leaves and returns to cuddling with Euryale.

Taiyo: "I hope we find a beach that isn't cold and snowy."

*Cameron gets a long stick and tries to fish some out*

"Me too. Even if I didn't bring my bikini."

A"I--umm--can't eat meat."

*She wanders over to Roatha, who has gotten the "hook" to a point where he feels satisfied, & cuts a notch into one of the sticks, so that it will be unlikely that the thread is pulled off of the stick.*

A"So...can I have one of these? Please?"

*She points to the sticks.*

Azuma: "Guess we'll be having seaweed anyways."

Taiyo seems quite disappointed.

Taiyo: "That's too bad."

*Cameron fishes some seaweed up*

Lunamon:<You can eat this?>

Biyomon:<Yes.>

*Eve also goes over to get a stick*

R"I'll trade you for some thread."

*She takes a stick & gives him a spool of thread.*

A"It's silk. I do most of my stuff with silk, but I've got a little bit of wool that I can use for those socks."

*At this moment, Dorumon waddles onto the scene.*

D<Taiyo says 6, Euryale says 10 and 1/2, and they both say, 'Thanks.'>

"Well, I wasn't really expecting to go swimming any time soon."

Azuma: "Anyone know how to prepare seaweed?"

Taiyo: "Oh. That makes sense, I guess."

A"Seaweed doesn't need to be cooked, but it might be wise to boil it in some water, just to make sure it's sanitary."

*Roatha unspools some of the thread & ties it tightly around the stick, inside of the notch. He then keeps unraveling it, collecting a loose ring around his fingers. Now armed with a stick, Aroma also fishes out some seaweed.*

"Yuck seaweed, really?"

Azuma: "Don't think we have anything to boil it in."

Taiyo: "You too."

A"I'm sure it will be fine."

*Roatha loops the other end of the silk around the hook he made several times, tying several notes.*

R"Alright, now we just need one of those fish as bait."

"That's good...Guess we might as well use this time to get to know each other. Maybe we should start with last names? Mine's Rakshashi."

Azuma: "Go get it, Patamon!"

Azuma lets Patamon go who flies back to Azuma.

Patamon: "No, you. My feet might get wet."

Azuma: "You can fly. That's irrelevant."

Grumbling about not wanting wet feet, Patamon flies out to the shoreline and sinks into the water when the tide comes in. He emerges a minute later, visibly upset and a fishtail poking out of his mouth.

He lands at Roatha's feet and spits three of them up with a "Bleh!"

R"Thanks, but does your partner know that we could have built a wading pool trap?"

*He skewers one on the end of a hook.*
