Episode Two: The Point of Absolute Zero

*The others follow.*

E"It's a lot more blood than I expected, I'll feel better when we get it looked at."

*The others follow as well*

Taiyo: "Um...okay."

They exit the trail and come out to a large clearing, the entrance to the path is sealed up by a wall of ice that circles the entire perimeter of the clearing.

At the center is an electric train car and just beyond that is a large ice structure.

Behind them they hear something scratching at the other side of the ice wall.

Cameron:<We could use that as a shelter.>

*Kylie and Lunamon turn around to see what's making the noise*

E"Yeah, but I'm not convinced this place is safe."

*They also turn to look.*

The ice is too thick to see through, but it's likely to be more SnowAgumon.

Azuma: "Well, they can't get in, so in that's a good sign."

Taiyo: "Did you go near that place over there last night?"

Renamon shakes her head.

Renamon: "No, but it shouldn't be here. The only structure of its kind on the island is in the north."

Taiyo: "How do you know we're not in the northern part of the island?"

Renamon: "There wouldn't be any trees or beaches. Just snow and ice."

E"Are you suggesting that it was moved across the island?"

R"How do you know they can't get in?"

As always Hibiki and BlkAgumon follow.

Eve:<It's still probably safer than anything else around here.>

Renamon: "I don't know. It's possible that whatever caused the island to be like this resides in there."

Azuma: "I don't. I'm just being hopeful."

Cameron:<Some of us should remain on watch while Taiyo gets fixed up.>

*Biyomon flies up to peck over the wall to see what's making the noise*

Hibiki nods and goes to stand watch.

E"So you mean it isn't naturally like this?"

*Aroma heads over to Taiyo after getting out her first aid kit, though she almost shrinks away after Euryale flashes her a pretty intimidating glare.*

Biyomon sees three SnowAgumon. One sees her and spits a mini blizzard at her.

Renamon: "Not in this region."

Azuma: "So where abouts are we?"

Renamon: "Dragon's Eye Lake."

Taiyo looks at Aroma then Euryale, not sure what just happened between them.

Azuma: "So there's a lake underneath all this snow and ice?"

Patamon: "No, it's a pond. Dragon's Eye Lake just sounds cooler."

*Biyomon flies back down*

<Yep, there's three SnowAgumon over there.>

E"So you've gotten some kind of memory back, or...?"

*Aroma cleans Taiyo's wound with a pad of gauze with disinfectant on it, also inspecting it to see how bad it is.*

Patamon: "I think we all are. Can't say I recall anything before going to your world, but I remember little things like locations."

Taiyo winces as the disinfectant stings and she grabs Euryale's hand. The wound isn't too bad, just a shallow cut that mostly stopped bleeding.

Taiyo: "Thanks...Aroma."

A"Of course, it's the least I can do."

E"You can say that again."

*Aroma frowns as she bandages Taiyo's arm. Euryale gently squeezes her hand.*

BlkAgumon finds some place to rest feeling less and less well as time goes on.

That would be the train car as the rest of the surrounding area is walled off.

Taiyo looks back between Aroma & Euryale unsure of what their problem is.

Taiyo: "Is everything all right?"

E"When we were being attacked, she just hid behind her partner. Who also didn't help, incidentally. I don't approve of such cowardice."

*Aroma backs up a bit.*

A"But...what was I--"

E"Everyone else helped, even Roatha kicked one in the head! A lot!"

*Aroma stares at her feet, on the verge of tears.*

A"I'm...I'm sorry...."

Taiyo: "You don't have to be so harsh. It's not like I did any better."

Eve:<Yeah. I'm sure she will do better next time.>

E"She'd better."

*Roatha walks up, making a time out gesture.*

R"Okay, okay, let's just focus on what we're going to do NOW."

Taiyo looks to Aroma, apologetically.

Taiyo: "Thanks for bandaging my arm."

Azuma: "Our best bet is likely to take a look inside that...whatever."
