Episode Two: The Point of Absolute Zero

Lunamon:<Why not.>

*She and Kylie go to take a look inside*

R"Alright, let's do that, then. Then Euryale can finally put Taiyo down."

E"I don't know. My arms hurt, but on the other hand, it's kind of a good hurt."

Taiyo: "Sorry...good kind of hurt?"

It's not that easy as they have to traverse the frozen lake. Not that they can tell that they're on it due to the snow, but no one falls through the ice, so they're good.

The structure is a large dome with no visible entrance at first until a sheet of ice sinks into the ground. The interior still isn't visible, but they hear something approach from the darkness.

*Kylie walks back to the others*

Kylie:<I think we should enter together.>

R"Or, you know, wait to see if anything comes out."

E"I say we take the fight to whatever it is."

R"Of course you do. What if the only thing to fight is a bad floor board?"

E"I'll rip it in 2."

Three rows of icicles burst from the ground starting at the entrance way and rapidly approach.

Renamon dashes between the rows, sending a Diamond Storm into the entrace of the dome.

Patamon flies over the icicles while Azuma and Hitomi, carrying Salamon move between the rows of icicles.

*Everyone tries their best to dart between the icicles.*

*Everyone tries to get out of the way of the icicles. Lunamon fires a Tear Shot into the cave*

Three [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] come sliding out between the icicles intent on making the film Happy Feet 3: Afternoon Bloodbath, barreling everyone over.

The Penmon slide around and stand up. The one in the middle squaks.

Penguinmon 1: "Kill! Light! Kill! Hope!"

Another row of icicles advances on Hitomi & Azuma who are caught between two other rows limiting their options for escaping to running towards the entrance of the dome which they try.

*Terriermon uses Terrier Tornado on one Penguinmon, while Lunamon uses tear Shot and Biyomon Double Fire on the same one*

Eve:<Light? Hope? Maybe this has something to do with the weird visions.>

*Dorumon continues his strategy of blasting the piss out of any enemy he has a clear shot at. That's when Guilmon starts to remember how his powers work, & takes aim at the same Digimon, adjusting if it moves.*

G<PYRO SPHERE!>

"I'm going to go with yes, it does" Hibiki says having followed while dragging BlkAgumon along.

Guilmon's fire isn't as impressive as it likely should be. The Penguinmon showed an aversion to it, reapted their initial attack when re ooperated from Dorumon's, unleashing a trail of icicles between the gaps in the other protruding from the ground.

Azuma & Hitomi who fled back to avoid the same are closer to the entrance of the dome there hear something inside.

*Everyone fires on the Penguinmon again*

*Guilmon uses its arm thing to crush the icicles. Dorumon fires again.*

Hibiki does his best to stay out of the way.

Those who didn't move or have something intercepting the icicle get knocked the fucked down like Garland. In other words, Leafy's characters.

Two Penguimon slide around behind the ice mound formed by their attacks leaving Penguinmon 1 to bear most of Dorumon's abuse.

The two Penguinmon sqwak, waddling closer to Azuma, Hitomi and their partners who each tackle one.

From inside the dome comes a louder sqwak that causes the icies protruding from the ground to crack.

*Everyone stumbles back up, Terriermon using Bunny Blast on any incoming icicles, while Lunamon uses tear shot on the Penguinmon Dorumon is attacking*

Eve:<Great. Whatever that is, it sounds quite large.>

*Dorumon & Guilmon keep attacking the Penguinmon that's apparently fucking immortal.*

The Penguimon explodes into data after Lunamon's attack connects because the others are sick and can't muster the strength to exhale an adequate fireball or I hate them.

The remaining Penguimon recoil from Salamon and Patamon's tackles and slap them with their flipper.

Another sqwak comes from the dome and a big fucking [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] comes stomping out, Patamon narrowly avoiding sharing the same fate as one of the Penguinmon that was crushed under the Digimon's foot.

*They turn to attacking that.*

*Terriermon uses Terrier Tornado on the Diatrymon, Lunamon uses Tear shot on it and Biyomon uses Spiral Twister*

The attacks have minimal effect on the Diatrymon, it reels back a bit as they are annoying, more so when Renamon attacks with Diamond Storm.

It steps forward, crushing the last Penguinmon showing as much concern as it did for the first.

Taiyo: "That thing's huge. How are we supposed to beat it?"

Diatrymon looms over them and roars, the icicles crumbling while the force of the shockwave forces everybody to the ground.

Cameron:<Well I have no idea!>

*The digimon try to stand up and attack again*

E"Keep hitting it until there's nothing left to hit."

*They. Attack. Again. Meanwhile, Euryale searches for an icicle fragment that's still got a point & is decently long.*
