The War of Paradigm City

Zell's plan has failed spectacularly, "Ow, ow, ow, stop it!"

*Barbatos grins & wrenches harder.*

<What's wrong? Does that hurt? Oh, I'm so sorry. Maybe it'll hurt less if we pull it out!>

*Lilith tries to punch Barbatos, but she grabs her hand & starts squeezing, her claws cutting into the underlying metal & wiring.*

"Please don't, I'll stop trying to attack you, just... release your grip on things."

<Are you gonna start crying? That would be great.>

*Deciding she's had quite enough of this bullshit, Lilith grabs the hand holding the hair with her own hand, squeezing it so the fingers are forced to release.*

Zell gets away from Barbatos' grip and kicks the bitch in the face before quickly going back up a few steps.

*Barbatos's nose starts bleeding, but now Zell's foot really hurts. Lilith, by throwing all of her weight into Barbatos, finally succeeds in knocking her down the stairs.*

Zell is somewhat happy at the turn of events, but doesn't seem to see anyway to keep Barbatos from simply getting back up and wreaking more shit.

*As a matter of fact, that is exactly what she does. Before Lilith jumps on her. She then produces a blade from her elbow & stabs Lilith in the stomach.*

<You subhuman garbage...STOP! TOUCHING! ME!>

"Thiera, do something!" Zell shouted, mortified.

"I don't know what I CAN do. If we had time, I could go back to the house & design an EM Pulse machine. But I never thought I'd need one!"

*Throughout this, Barbatos keeps elbow-stabbing Lilith. Thiera takes aim & fires, blowing her nose off. This reveals a disturbingly metal nose crest & upper jaw behind her face.*

Zell is freaked out by the sight, "That isn't helpful! Can't the megadei do something?"

*Barbatos pulls out her own gun & points it at Zell. Lilith falls over, kind of twitching, with sparks coming from her stomach.*

<I would not recommend that.>

*Gelu Chalybs fires a needle to clear some debris presumably damaging itself in the process.*

*Hitomi presumably finds her Megadeus as it was supposed to be like twn feet away.*

Zell raises her hands, "Wait, you don't want to shoot me." Since she was in a stairwell, she really didn't have the ability to get out of the way of a bullet, so she was banking on Thiera doing something.

T"Don't worry, she won't shoot. Androids can't harm humans."

<I'll show you how much of an android I-->

*When she whirls around to fire, Thiera has crept up behind her & grabs her arm, pushing it up so she shoots the ceiling. Barbatos grabs her other hand, the one holding the gun. There's a brief struggle, which of course Barbatos quickly wins, & in a few seconds Thiera is collapsing to her knees as blood comes from her wrist & a grin spreads across Barbatos's face.*

*Big Duo lands on Gelu & starts punching it in the face.*

"Stop this! You're such a shitty android!" Zell said, trying to provoke Barbatos.

*Gelu Chalybs fires another needle, this time at Big Duo just as Kanrei Tsuki shows up. Not that it has anything to do as Big Duo has everything under control.*

*Ignoring the needle lodged in its chest, Big Duo keeps pounding the shit out of Gelu Chalyb's face, eventually employing its spinny blade-hands.*

*This works, in the sense that she rears back to kick Thiera. Before she can, Lilith manages to reach out & grab her ankle.*

*Gelu Chalybs fires at Big Duo's chest with one of its wrist-mounted machine guns. Kanrei Tsuki raises its rifle and stands by.*

Zell wonders why Thiera hasn't called up Basilisk to drill up a hole to separate them from Barbatos.

*Lilith squeezes & twists, & something snaps. When she lets go of Barbatos's ankle, Barbatos begins stumbling around. Thiera gets up, grabs her by the arms, & sprints for a good 2 minutes. She successfully moves Lilith all of 2 inches towards the exit before collapsing in exhaustion.*

*The shells basically bounce off of Big Duo's armor & it severs its gun arm with its eye lasers before charging them again.*

Zell goes to help out.

*Gelu Chalybs fires another needle.*

*Without the added adrenaline, they can't move her at all.*

T"There only one thing for it, then."

*As she reaches for her watch, a part of Barbatos's clawed hand shoots off on a chain & clamps around her wrist.*

*At the same time, Big Duo fires its lasers & breaks open the robot's head. However, one of its arms goes limp, its machinegun ports are crushed, & sparks are flying out of its torso.*

*Gelu Chalybs fires its remaining machine gun into Big Duo's torso.*
