I've always believed subs and dubs have equal merits. I don't like people who get preachy about how ether one is better than the other.

I don't care either way, though sometimes a dub will have really awkward moments in them that I catch thanks to understanding the language.

They somehow managed to make Giriko even lamer, though surprisingly they didn't censor his death. Everything else was pretty cool, I guess.

Honestly if they're ending the anime I hope they end it with this...

Nor does it mean anything to me, but it is clear that she isn't holding her skirt. It just kind of looks that way since her hand is drawn over the hem of her skirt, however, if this was to be viewed at another angle it'd be easier to see that the position of her hand isn't near her skirt.

There's really nothing in the image that makes it impossible. That said, it's probably not the intention. THAT said, who really gives a shit?

Turns out Ivan, & probably new guy, was an Arrancar with Quincy powers. Which might explain why the King is so quick to blast them apart.

This chapter revealed what I always suspected--Frenchie is some kind of Captain-level superbadass, complete with Bankai. So I sense there's going to be more to this...I don't know whether the death is going to turn out staged, like FMA did with Maria Ross, or if an enemy is going to whip out his powers, like Kaien, but I'm pretty sure Frenchie's relevence isn't over.

Although, the chapter used the phrase "capture Ichigo's Bankai," so I'm holding with the theory that they can dissolve someone's Bankai & use it themselves.

I like how they knew it was Soul Reapers thanks to the sandals. No one was like, "Well... maybe they just made some sandals..."

How? Even if they had access to the proper materials & tools needed, they would need the knowledge of how to make them. And pretty much everyone there lives by theft.

That honestly sounds more far-fetched than "Someone who was already wearing sandals came in & killed them."

Admittedly, that also leaves Arrancars or another unknown invader, but (& here I admit to reaching) maybe everyone is still paranoid from the Aizen incident. I know that's what I thought of first when he said that Soul Reapers were behind it, especially considering Aizen has made people in Rukongai disappear before.

...How hard can it be to make sandals. They're not rockin' nubuk sneakers, they're straw sandals, and these people are boarder line immortal so they've got time to learn to make them.

Also, you thought of Aizen because you still want him back. I didn't think of Aizen at all (I actually went to Mayuri because of past heinous war crimes).

Yes, I thought about Aizen because he made a distinct impression on me, not so much because his return is statistically probable. That is how human memory works.

Though I'm not sure if Kubo knows that.

The internet isn't giving me a lot to go on as to how they're actually made, but I seldom assume that just because the components of something are simple, it means it's easy to make.
