"Do you know what kind of monster types were there?" Mortal asked. Noct continues down the steps.

*Monudon jumps to the side, attacking again*

Aroma: I don't know what you mean.

Euryale: Like the things we keep fighting down here.

Aroma: Oh, I don't know, these golden symbols don't open for me.

*Coincidentally, the next room after the ascending staircase is a T-shaped room with 2 doors & a Magic Portal. However, the Magic Portal only produces a Risky Treasure.*

*The shark "sinks" down to the ground, fading away.*

Mortal opens it.

*Monudon looks around then exits the room*

*A black explosion issues from the chest, complete with a skull laughing at her. Mortal is immediately dropped down to critical condition.*

~Obtained a Fortune Wire!~

*Aroma dashes over, rubbing Mortal's back.*

Aroma: What happened?! Does it hurt?

*Monudon is back in the room at the rightmost room.*

Mortal nods, "Yes, I'm fine..." Sab uses a La Repth on Mortal.

Monudon:[Great. Now where is the staircase?]

*Monudon exits the room in a random direction*

*Fine, he ends up back in the same room he just left.*

Thiera: Repth! ...Does it hurt when you get attacked?

*Thiera waves her staff as she talks & 2 blue auras surround Mortal, healing her HP back up to 3/4. Aroma shrugs.*

Aroma: I don't know, it's never happened before.

*Monudon sighs*

Monudon:[And..right back here.]

*Monudon walks out the exit again*

Monudon:[I guess I'll retrace my steps to see what I've missed.]

"Lets try to keep it that way," Noct said, "I'd hate to find out."

*In the central room is a northern exit, like it says on the map.*

*Thiera casts Repth again, since they haven't gone anywhere.*

Euryale: Okay, so, I'm going to say we go right. Any objections?

*Monudon takes the northern exit*

"I don't mind either way, but Thiera seemed to have an idea on how the place was laid out," Noct said.

Thiera: Well...umm...left was "wrong" on the last level, so maybe that is a good idea.

*Monudon enters a much larger cavern with a Magic Portal in the center. The Magic Portal just deposits a Risky Treasure, however.*

*Monudon uses a fortune wire on the risky chest*

"Alright then, lets go," Noct said, going right.

*The chest glows gold, before turning into a regular treasure chest. From the left corner, something starts shouting at her.*

*The next cavern has a couple of skeletons & a treasure chest.*

Mortal gets them all.

*Monudon opens the treasure chest, then turns towards the noise*

*The chest contains The Lovers. She also gets a Recovery Drink. The next room is vaguely u-shaped, with a large pit being taken out of it. Over this pit hang shriveled bodies clutching onto gibbet bars, seemingly screaming at them. Behind them, the sound of a wave of air, as a Magic Portal spews out 2 giant cabs.*

*An ostritch-egg sized...egg with a fac hatching out of it is bouncing around.*

*Monudon picks up the egg, then looks around to see if he missed anything*

"Well that is creep-- Crabs..." Noct let out a sigh and quadruple slashed one of them. Mortal slashes the other one, and Sab uses a Juk Rom on it.

Hector walked out of the ring of boulders to see if there was anything else to see.

*He crosses a flat plane. After a few minutes, a Magic Portal comes into view.*

*Even after Euryale assists, they barely bring down the crab's HP by a quarter. It retaliates by snipping at Mortal with each of its claws. Noctis does nearly half damage to the other crab, which begins shaking its claws.*

*In the nearby corner, he sees a skeleton sitting hunched over. He can't make out what, if anything, is in the other 2 corners.*
