Year Two

*Eve waves, as her father pulls up*

<Ready to go?>

"Yep," Jin beamed and followed Eve to the car.

*The other Dr. Tantus nods as the girls enter, then starts driving towards Eve's house*

Dr. Tantus:<So, how were your days?>

*Eve shrugs in response*

"Good," Jin replied, stretching around in the car to crack her back, neck, ankles and each finger.

Dalia got off of the bus and walked the last stretch to her home.
That man... if I see him again, I should kill him. Babbling about Mutants being 'evil', the fool.

Dr. Tantus:<That's good. Neither of us will be home until pretty late, but one of us will come get you if you need us to Jin.>

At the park, no one recieves a call from Taiyo who is presently at home, feeding Kitters as usual.

The park is emptier than usual, no one wanting to go there on a cloudy day while it's still damp and wet from the night before.

Azuma: "Hey."

Hitomi: "Hello."

Hitomi closes the door as she enters. She heads to the back to put her stuff away, coming out a few minutes later.

Hitomi: "Did you...go out last night?"

Azuma: "Yeah. I hyped it up real good only to drop the ball. Although I did learn something..."

Hitomi jumps, shocked by Azuma taking her hand without warning. He bites his lip as her powers do their thing before letting go.

Hitomi: "You came here?"

Azuma: "Yeah. I figured something was up and well...something certainly is. Seems a little too big for me though."

Hitomi: "Know thyself."

Azuma: "What?"

Hitomi: "The grafitti in the back room."

Azuma: "Means know thyself? Huh, learn something new."

*They decide to call Taiyo.*

"I should be alright," Jin replied. "I could jog home easy. I appreciate the offer, though."

Dalia arrived at home, turned on her laptop and checked the news and weather.

Taiyo answers.

Taiyo: "Hello."

The weather is set to be cloudy 'til at least tomorrow afternoon. As for the news, it's all just recaps of what aired in the morning.

V"Hey, uh, we didn't really talk about when we were going to meet, so...we're here."

Dr. Tantus:<Well, stay safe.>

*He drops them off on Eve's driveway. After he has driven away, Cameron runs over*

Cameron:<Afternoon!>

Taiyo: "Oh. On my way."

Taiyo sets off for the park.

*They wait!*

Some time later, Taiyo arrives.

Taiyo: "I uh...didn't think we'd do this here."

V"Isn't this where we said to meet?"

Taiyo: "No. This is just where we usually meet. We didn't really decide on anything except for today."

V"Oh. Well then, where do you want to go?"

Taiyo: "It doesn't matter. We can do it here if that's all right with Thiera."

T"I guess...."

Taiyo: "Okay. Then um..."

She looks at Ven for help as she's most direct of the bunch.

V"You are a vigilante."

T"Well...yes. Aroma figured it out the other day, so I've been having her help me with some minor things. Fixing up my outfit, doing internet searches, and so on."

*Aroma pounds her chest proudly, smiling.*

A"I'm a sidekick!"

Taiyo: "Aren't you worried about well...it's dangerous and illegal."

T"My powers can adapt to a large number of circumstances. So far, I've strayed away from anything illegal. The main idea of the anti-vigilante act is to prevent any civilian from attempting to take law enforcement powers into their own hands. This includes breaking into properties, engaging into surveillance of private residences against their will, & the use of violence. Self-defense, and patrolling the streets in disguise, those are not actually illegal."

Taiyo: "Isn't that domino you took from a crime scene?"

T"Alright, true. But I've made some pretty disturbing discoveries about that. First, it seemed to have been designed to kill. Second, when we tried to report this to the police, it seemed like we were being blocked. I don't know if it ever got through."
