Cabin in the Woods II

Astarte's heart sank, but she tried not to show her distress at the notion of leaving the room.

Hector, now hearing that a bunch of them had gotten up, lowered himself back down and fell asleep again almost instantly.

Azuma: "Of course we're awake. Did anyone actually sleeping with all the voices, footsteps, doors opening and closing and whatever else? Unless that was just you creeping about."

He points his flashlight as Vanessa.

*Vanessa glares at Azuma, crossing her arms.*

V"I KNOW something was in here."

*Roatha & Thiera file out of the room next.*

A"Tomorrow is fine by me. I can hardly wait."

"Me too," Sab said. She put her head down for a second, smiling to herself, then instantly lost all happiness, and looked horrified.

Azuma: "Well keep it to yourself. I don't want to know any mkre than I do about this nonsense."

Astarte came timidly to her room's doorway.

On the floor of the front room, Stefan suddenly woke up and gasped. Realizing that he had woken up, he starting trying to haul himself up.

*Aroma looks worried.*

"What's wrong?"

*Stefan trips over something large & goes crashing back to the floor.*

V"Shut up, Retard."

N"Hey, if you're not going to be using that flashlight, why don't you lend it to us?"

E"Looks like everything's all right...at least...I think...."

*Euryale scratches her head.*

"Aw, man," Stefan started trying to pick himself up again, trying to ignore the dizzy feeling he was getting.

Astarte jumped a little when she heard someone collapse in the front room.

"We're in the same room," Sab said, "So, we're going to see what we're wearing before we get there. What if I can't decide what to wear. You're going to be able to see me stressing out, I mean, if I stress out."

*Monu and Cameron wake up and head out*

Tirea:<I'm ready to head to the pond.>

N"Yeah, we need something to put the water in first."

*Nero & Vanessa look in the direction of the loud thumping noise. Then they hear the voice & relax.*

*Stefan moves whatever he's scrambling over & finds that it isn't a single solid object. There are a lot of rods making it up. Arranged in a peculiar intersecting pattern.*

"We could just agree to meet there? Then we could come in the room to get changed whenever we felt like it."

"...Um," Stefan stepped back from it. He could now hear that some of the others were up, so he called out quietly. "Guys? There is something weird here. Guys?"

Monu:<The empty cans? Unless they're all dirty.>

*Eve goes in to see what Stefan found*

*Vanessa heads over with her lighter. In the flickering light, they can vaguely make out...*

V"The chair. The chair that was propped up against the door. You knocked it over, you retard."

*Eve sighs*

<For a second there, oh never mind.>

Tirea:<Should we make our plans now?>

"You make it sound like I could see anything," Stefan shrugged. "What is happening, anyway? Have I been out for long?"

Tirea:<You just missed some fighting and creepy noises.>

"Oh, I guess that could work," Sab said, "Maybe I'm making too big a deal out of it."

V"And you make it sound like you're blind and stupid."

A"Maybe just a little."

*Aroma kicks her shoes off & climbs into bed.*

Sab kicks off her shoes, and snuggles into bed as well, "G'night, Aroma."

Taiyo: "As all right as it can be."

Azuma flicks his flashlight off and goes back to bed.

*Azuma can't fall back asleep.*

*When Sab wakes up, Aroma is still asleep.*

Sab groggily goes to take a shower, having had the strangest dream about Aroma.

Stefan took another look at Vanessa, and then decided not to respond. He put the chair back in its place.

Taiyo: "I guess."
