Cabin in the Woods II

Eduj has a lighter. He is capable of lighting a burner.

T"...Are you going to eat anything?"

Azuma: "Trying to remember if I have or not."

Mimiru: "You didn't, stupid."

Azuma: "Well you've never let me down before, so you must be right."

Azuma gets his lighter back from Mimiru and goes about preparing his own food.

Eduj took his cooked food and ate it with Hector and Astarte, in an uncomfortable silence.

Eve:<Going outside isn't really all that bad. We survived encounters with that monster more than once.>

*Monu sighs and shrugs at Tirea, not wanting to get involved*

At the word 'romantic' Sab felt keenly aware of Aroma's hand in hers. Sab blushed again, and said, "You're right. It is kind of romantic. I'm glad you're here, Aroma. I had a wonderful night."

T"Look what happens when we do encounter it. One of us is bedridden for days, another has a concussion, and several of our supplies are destroyed. That is what we can consider the minimum consequence."

*Nero gets up, putting his can in the sink, & wanders off towards the back of the cabin.*

"Me too."

Eve:<I know, but we can't be afraid to go out and look for necessary supplies. Death by monster is quicker than death by dehydration.>

*Monu watches carefully, afraid of another Nero vs. Hector*

"Would you, I don't know..." Sab stopped walking, and looked down at her feet, "Would you like to go somewhere again. Maybe like, dinner or something?"

Eduj, Hector and Astarte continued eating in silence, in a closed room.

T"I vote we return to bed. I can't keep my lantern on forever, it will run out of power. We can do something in whatever passes for the morning here."

*Aroma also stops walking, staring at her own feet.*

"I'd...I'd like that. What...where would you like to go...to eat...I mean?"

"Um, there is a nice Italian restaurant close to campus," Sab said, "Its called Riolet."

Azuma: "It isn't morning or at least the afternoon now? How freaking long were you gone for?"

T"A very long time. Stumbling blindly through the woods while being chased by an abomination is a time-consuming process. The good news is that we managed to get a call out to the police."

*Nero finds his bed, sees that there is no one in it, shrugs, & goes to sleep.*

A"That sounds wonderful! (Uh...sorry, that was a little loud.)"

Taiyo: "Really?"

Azuma: "How'd that go?"

*Eve shrugs*

<You'll have to ask Nero. We got attacked before we could ask him.>

*Cameron heads to bed*

Sab smiled, and hugged Aroma, "Its alright. I'm so happy." She let go and looked like she was just barely containing the urge to hop up and down.

T"I guess I should leave this on until you can get Euryale back to bed."

E"I'm sorry to be so much trouble."

T"Don't worry about it. Someone would have had to try intimidating the shadow at some point. Sometimes, helping others means making a big sacrifice, and we all appreciate that."

*Vanessa scoffs.*

T"Well, most of us appreciate that. Anyway, now it's our turn to help you."

"Yeah, me too."

*Aroma doesn't sound unenthusiastic so much as nervous.*

"Yeah," Sab echoed, smiling still. She then began to walk back to the dorm, "Come on, lets head back."

Tirea:<We'll kick it's ass for you!>

Stefan was now asleep on the floor. Astarte finished her food and quietly slipped back to her own room. When she spotted Nero sleeping, she felt quite relieved and lay down next to him to sleep.

Both Mimiru and Taiyo begin to help Euryale up.

Azuma: "You know, if your lantern doesn't have much juice left you can turn it off. The lot of us do have flashlights."

Azuma flicks his on.

T"The principle is the same. Eventually, our batteries will run out, so we should minimize power usage."

*Euryale takes a few shaky steps towards the bedroom. Thiera turns to Tirea.*

T"...And I don't think we should try attacking it again. Not until we know a little more about it."

*When they get back in the dorm room, Aroma puts the newspaper on her bed & does a double-take at the headline: Missing Students Call Out.*

"Is something alright?" Sab asked, laying down on her bed on her side, propping her head up with a hand, and resting her other one on her hip.
