Episode Two: The Point of Absolute Zero

*The others do the same.*

E"Guilmon, I don't want to push you, but we might have to fight our way out!"

Flames roar in BlkAgumon's mouth and he fires a fireball at the SnowAgumon's face while Hibiki takes cover.

BlackAgumon's attack barely phases it, the roar coming across as a whimper.

A SnowAgumon jumps from the trees, hissing, giving Terriermon a scratch across the back.

Another emerges from the trees in front of Euryale and Taiyo, brandishing its fangs which elongate as ice covers them. A second one circles around beside them.

A fourth rushes Dorumon from the side while the last one snaps at Patamon.

*Terriermon grits his teeth and using Terrier Tornado on the SnowAgumon attacking him. Lunamon uses Lunar Claw on the SnowAgumon attacking BlkAgumon, while Biyomon uses Spiral Twister on the same one*

*Euryale kicks the one in front of her in its Digi-Balls while Roatha tries to grab it from behind. Guilmon turns to the other & bites it. Dorumon steps out of the way & fires its cannonball at SnowAgumon while it's trying to turn. Aroma shrinks back, whimpering, while Lalamon stands guard in front of her, floating & puffing itself out to look more intimidating.*

SnowAgumon 1 hisses and spits a flurry of snow and ice shards in Terriermon's face.

SnowAgumon 2 spits an orb above Lunamon and Biyomon, icicles raining down on them and turns its attention back to BlackAgumon, a grin on its face.

Digimon having no reproductive organs, this doesn't have anywhere near the desired effect. It still hurts, but not doubling over in pain hurts. SnowAgumon 3, squirms out of Roatha's grasp and raises a claw to slash him for Renamon to wrestle it to the ground.

SnowAgumon 4, growls and spits an orb up above them, icicles raining down on them.

Patamon flies up to avoid the bite and with Salamon, bodycheck it into the trees. Azuma and Hitomi move out from behind the tree to see the rest of the group engaged with the other members.of the SnowAgumon pack.

*Terriermon ducks under the attack, then uses Bunny blast again. Biyomon uses Double Fire to melt the ice, while Lunamon uses Lop-ear Ripple to trap the SowAgumon*

*Whichever one Guilmon bit, he's now raised it into the air & is jerking his head to & fro to tear at it with his teeth. Dorumon fires an attack at Snow Agumon 4.*

SnowAgumon 1, uppercuts Terriermon, leaving a gash on his chest which begins bleeding. As opposed to blood, data seeps out and scatters to the wind.

SnowAgumon 2 is trapped, but its attack still resulted in Biyomon and Lunamon recieving a number of shallow cuts. Some begin to bleed. It roars in pain, a metal orb striking it.

Blue flames circle Renamon's claws as she tears and punches SnowAgumon 3. It squirms and rolls over, spitting a mini blizzard in her face.

Taiyo shrieks when an icicle grazes her arm, a line of blood runs down it. SnowAgumon 4's attack scratching him up and his ailing health means Guilmon can't hold it up for long and as a result he drops it. It's bleeding profusley from the neck.

Patamon and Salamon comes out from behind the tree, SnowAgumon 5 in pursuit, they both attack with Boom Bubble and Puppy Howling respectively.

*Lunamon uses Tear Shot on the trapped SnowAgumon, followed by Spiral Twister from Biyomon*

Eve:<Terriermon!>

*Terriermon uses Terrier Tornado on SnowAgumon's face, then again uses Bunny Blast at close range*

"Well that's just backwards. Fire should wreck ice!"

BlkAgumon  let's loose another volley of fireballs on the snowagumon.

*Guilmon swipes his claw at the SnowAgumon's neck. Dorumon next attacks SnowAgumon1.*

SnowAgumon 1 roars and dissolves into data.

This could be true if BlackAgumon wasn't sick as a dog. The fireballs certainly are annoying, but there's nothing SnowAgumon 2 can do about it for the time being.

SnowAgumon 3 bites Renamon's hand, using the time she takes to recoil from the pain to shove her off and get back to its feet where it runs off around the tree and on to the path.

SnowAgumon 4 hisses and attacks with a mini blizzard, sounding incredibly pained while doing it.

SnowAgumon 5 lunges at Salamon, teeth bared. It falls flat when Patamon bodychecks, but grabs Patamon and wrestles him to the ground, so he's on the bottom.

*Roatha kicks Snow Agumon 5 in the head. Euryale's busy holding Taiyo close to her, & looking out for dangers. Guilmon jumps back as Dorumon blasts Snow Agumon 4.*

"This climate is seriously starting to bother me" Hibiki laments at his partner being basically useless.

The bubbles trapping SnowAgumon 2 all pop and it bites BlackAgumon in the face.

Renamon pursues SnowAgumon 3, spinning around the tree, kicking it, knocking it down. It growls, opening its mouth readying an attack. Renamon unleashes a Diamond Storm, tearing through the SnowAgumon which erupts in data.

SnowAgumon 4 staggers and falls over, struggling to stand up.

Taiyo clutches the wound on her arm, quivering.

SnowAgumon 5 growls at Roatha and stands up, stepping on Patamon. It then spits a mini blizzard at him. Salamon goes and bites, SnowAgumon 5 on the leg.

*Roatha dies out of the way if attacked, if not, he continues kicking Snow Agumon 5 in the head. Dorumon blasts Snow Agumon 4 again, & Guilmon rams Snow Agumon 2.*

E"Are you okay?"

*Eve uses Bunny Blast on SnowAgumon 2, while Lunamon uses Tear Shot and Biyomon uses Double Fire*

SnowAgumon 2 & 4 each explode in a cloud of data.

Renamon absorbs the data of SnowAgumon 3, the wounds on her hand closing up.

Taiyo: "Yeah...It just stings a little."

SnowAgumon 5 ignores Salamon biting into it and looks around at its missing companions. It makes a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] almost like a dry cough.

Salamon bites it on the arm which manages to get its attention and it off of Patamon as it focuses on her, leaning down, ready to pounce.

*Lunamon uses Tear Shot on the remaining SnowAgumon*

*Dorumon also blasts it when Roatha gets out of the way.*

Not only does Salamon have to avoid the SnowAgumon lunging at her, but the assholes attacking it when it's practically in her face.

Patamon and Renamon finish it off with Boom Bubble & Diamond Storm respectively, the monster dissolving into a cloud of data.

Azuma: "Everyone all right?"

Taiyo: "Yeah..."

Taiyo looks at her hand, more blood on it than her arm.

Azuma: "We should hurry and go. That couldn't have been a mating call."

E"Yeah, and Taiyo's bleeding a lot, we should get here somewhere where we can do first aid. Lead the way, Renamon."

*Eve picks up Terriermon*

Kylie:<We're good!>

Renamon: "Straight ahead."

Rather than lead the way she walks alongside Taiyo and Euryale leaving whoever else to lead them out.

Azuma & Hitomi continue on, walking at an accelerated rate.

Taiyo: "It's not too bad. Just a band aid and it'll be fine."
