Episode Eight: Home

OOC: Probably a good thing, then Euryale won't have to fight him to establish dominance. Also, I forget what Taiyo said.

R"Uh, alright."

D<So do I just like...stand by her feet, or something...?>

*They just wait for Taiyo to do whatever.*

Taiyo lets go of Euryale's hand to open the door then takes hold of it again. Loren enters the hall carrying a box which she then drops, something inside breaking to go hug Taiyo.

Taiyo: "Hi, mom."

Loren: "Where have you been?"

Taiyo: "It's a long story."

Loren lets go of Taiyo, looking at the strangers in her home.

Loren: "Who might these two be?"

Taiyo holds up Euryale's hand then Aroma's as she introduces them as her girlfriend and friend respectively.

Loren then screams at the sight of a dinosaur in her doorway, possibly getting its head in a shoe or something.

Girl: "Whatever you want."

On her bathroom mirror is a weirdo image of the Crest of Friendship and Knoweldge combined as one.

*And so he snaps a picture with Dorumon hanging out by this girl's feet.*

E"That's my dinosaur. His name is Guilmon."

G<Hi. Wanna be friends?>

*Guilmon gives a little wave.*

E"The plant also talks."

*Lalamon turns around, hugging Aroma with her stubby arms & burying her face in Aroma's shirt.*

E"When she's not hiding from new people."

A"Uh--uh--mm--umm--h--hello M--Mrs.--S--s--Shi--ka--su...."

*Eve ignores it and goes about getting dressed. Terriermon tries to clean the mirror*

Mr Sorenson:<What did she do to you?>

*Kylie shakes her head*

<Things.>

Taiyo: "They're part of the story."

Renamon makes her appearance behind the group, Loren screaming at the fox's sudden appearance.

Taiyo: "That's Renamon."

Loren stares at Renamon recalling the fox plush Taiyo had.

Loren: "It has the same colors as that fox toy you have."

Taiyo: "That was also Renamon. Just smaller."

Loren: "Oh dear. Well, come on in. I'll get some tea ready."

The girl takes her phone back and thanks Roatha before buggering off, likely uploading the picture to Facebook.

Assuming she's in her room while she gets dressed, she hears the giggling again. Coming from fairly close by.

*Terriermon tries to find where the noise is coming from while Eve gets dressed*

Mr Sorenson:<What...kind of things?>

Kylie:<She whipped me, and treated me like a dog...>

*She buries her head in her father's shoulder*

*Roatha heads home & takes a shower, as was promised.*

E"Thanks."

A"Y--yes, th--tha--nk--y--you...."

*And so they come in.*

E"Guilmon, wipe your feet."

*And so Guilmon wipes his feet.*

Loren picks the box of broken whatever up and goes into the kitchen while Taiyo leads the group into the living room.

Roatha's shower is uneventful. At least in the sense nothing appears to be laughing at his small member.

He's greeted by a Jokermon hiding under the bed which drags him under.

*They sit down on furniture.*

*He gets out, dressed, yadayada, & sees how much time he has to kill before Eve is supposed to call him.*

*Terriermon uses Bunny Blast on the Jokermon before trying to get out from under the bed*

Loren comes in momentarily carrying a tray with a pot and enough glasses the humans and Digimon. Setting the tray down on the coffee table, she sits down.

Taiyo: "I guess we should start from the beginning, huh?"

And so she starts with how Viximon came from her computer and she had met the rest of the crew in the park and what went on in the Digital World until they suddenly appeared back in the park a few hours ago.

Loren: "Do you think you'll be going back?"

Taiyo: "I don't know, probably. We didn't finish what we were supposed to do there."

Loren: "I see."

It responds by punching him in the face, seeming quite unhappy about its hiding spot being revoked.

*Guilmon reaches for a glass, but Euryale stops him.*

E"You'd better let me do that. I don't want you breaking her nice cups."

*So she puts her own cup down & helps Guilmon take a drink. Lalamon is too busy trying to burrow into Aroma's stomach.*

A"Th--this is g--good, Mrs. Sh--ikasu."

*Still staring at a clock, I suppose.*

*Eve sends a message to Roatha*

Under attack. Think we can handle it though.

*Terriermon tries to drag Jokermon out from under eve's bed before using Terrier Tornado on it*

Loren: "Thank you. Should I find something else for him to drink from?"

The Jokermon climbs out from under the bed, hauling Terriermon with it and again, punches him in the face. All the while its face holds the same weird painted on grin.

R"Dorumon, fight, let's go!"

*He grabs his coat on the way out & sends a message back while Dorumon bobs along behind him.*

Be right there.

E"That's alright, I don't want to make you get up again."

*Terriermon digivolves then Gargomon punches Jokermon in the face*

Loren: "If you say so."

The front door opens then closes, Taiyo's father coming in.

Taiyo: "Hi, dad."

Jokermon recoils and punches Gargomon in the face before jumping out the window.

His way to Eve's is met with the same looks and stares as any other time he took Dorumon in public the last couple hours.

A truck passes by blaring an announcement about an upcoming concert of the Digital King over loudspeaker.

*They sit.*

*Roatha ignores this shit & presses onward.*

*Gargomon runs to the window, looking down to see where Jokermon went*

Iori walks in, staring at the Digimon while Taiyo gestures to the humans.

Taiyo: "Dad, this is my girlfriend Euryale and our friend Aroma. And these are our Digimon, Guilmon, Lalamon, and Renamon."

Iori: "Right...."

Loren: "I'll tell you later. I'm certain these three have already gone over all of this with Aroma & Euryale's parents already."

Gargomon gets a faceful of fireworks. A display Roatha can see from the corner of the street.

*And can do nothing about until he gets to the door.*

A"M--m--"

E"Her parents weren't home. Pretty sure that's what she wants to say."

*She pats a hand on Aroma's shoulder. Aroma shakes her head.*

G<...So...do you wanna be friends?>

*The door is closed but unlocked*

*Gargomon fires back at the Jokermon*

Loren: "That's unfortunate."

He stares at the dinosaur, having never been asked such a thing by such a thing.

Iori: "Why not?"

He hears gunfire too. He better hurry his ass up.

Jokermon cartwheels away, more fireworks springing up and firing at Gargomon as well as the neighbors house.

*He can't go any faster than the DM arbitrarily lets him go.*

G<Yay!>

*Guilmon starts to rush forward, but Euryale grabs him with both arms, sliding a bit before he finally stops.*

E"Whoa, boy. Remember what I said about meeting new people?"

G<Oh yeah.>

*Guilmon gives as much of a bow as a dinosaur can do, claws at his side.*

G<Thank you. It is nice to meet you.>

*He resumes his normal posture & extends a claw.*

*Gargomon jumps down and uses Bunny Pummel on Jokermon*
