Episode Eight: Home

Eve:<Yeah, I should do the same. I'll call you in about an hour.>

Taiyo: "That's probably a better idea."

R"Alright."

Father<Euryale! Your friend's done in the shower!>

E"Alright! Hold your horses! You can go next, since you're my guest."

*So Eve walks him out, like a nice person*

Taiyo: "Thank you."

Presumably after asking for directions to the bathroom, Taiyo scampers off.

The outside world is such a fright, except not. Although there appears to be a flyer of sorts hanging out of Eve's mailbox.

*Euryale heads out & just waits for her to get done, I suppose.*

Mother<So...does that mean that he isn't a dinosaur, either?>

*She points to Guilmon, who lifts his head from where he's coiled on the floor.*

G<Nope. I'm a Guilmon. Euri tried to tell me what dinosaurs are, but I just got confused.>

*Roatha just awkwardly follows her out & waits for her to tell him to fuck off, I guess.*

*Eve goes over to get the flyer*

Taiyo returns fairly quick, wearing her default outfit, her hair still a tad wet as well as her arms, legs, and stomach.

Taiyo: "All yours, Euryale."

Confetti pops out of the mailbox when she retrieves the flyer. It reads:

Child of Knowledge & Friendship, sitting in a tree
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
First comes love, then comes marriage
Then comes a spectacular demise at the King's concert

*Eve laughs harshly*

<Someone's mature.>

*She turns to Roatha and hand him the flyer*

<Looks like they know where we all live.>

*Euryale heads up & gets a shower, I guess.*

"...What is he, some kind of idiot? This doesn't even rhyme."

*He crumbles it up & puts it in the nearest trash can.*

"Dorumon will just sniff him out after I get ready."

Taiyo waits nervously with Aroma, Renamon looking at her unsure of why she'd be so nervous.

More confetti springs up out of the garbage he went to throw the flyer in.

The doorbell at the Sorensons rings.

*Mr Sorenson stands up to answer the door, followed by Cameron*

*Eve stares at the trashcan*

<This is getting weird.>

*Terriermon peeks inside*

*Euryale comes down a short while later.*

"I thought about getting changed, but since neither of you had the chance, I wanted to show camaraderie."

*Roatha just stands there.*

They presumably get going to Taiyo's.

Aside from letting the smell in, there's a big ol' box addressed to Kylie on their front step.

It's full of garbage and confetti.

*Mr Sorenson looks at Cameron*

<Do we open it?>

*Cameron nods and the pair take it inside. Kylie comes to join them before they open it*

Eve:<Huh.>

*Roatha. Standing.*

*Euryale & Aroma. Also standing.*

*Eve awkwardly looks at Roatha*

<I guess I'll see you later?>

Taiyo takes Euryale's hand as they walk. A red dinosaur attracting more strange looks than a gay couple and a third wheel.

Confetti flies out and inside is a big ol' cardboard standy of LadyDevimon brandishing a whip.

R"I guess so."

E"So, Aroma, do you meet many women?"

A"Um...women are everywhere."

E"Haha. I meant women you like."

A"Oh, um...not really. I don't know many girls who would...like me back."

*Aroma goes red & her voice cracks a bit.*

E"They say all of the good ones are taken."

*Kylie covers her eyes*

Mr Sorenson:<Um, what is that?>

Lunamon:<The digimon who hurt Kylie.>

*Lunamon uses Tear Shot to destroy the cutout while Mr Sorenson hugs Kylie*

Taiyo takes Aroma's hand.

Taiyo: "I'm sure you'll meet someone someday."

Now they got a mess in their living room.

Assuming Roatha decided to head home, he once again recieves weird looks, people pointing and whispering.

A young girl walks up to him and shows her a video on YouTube about a wild monster born from the Fukushima nuclear power plant which shows Dorumon attacking some dude. She then shows it to Dorumon.

R"Uh...thanks? He's not dangerous. That was just an argument that got out of hand."

D<Looks like I'm a celebrity. Yes, I was born from the power plant. That makes sense.>

R"Don't say that, people are going to accuse you of being radioactive, or something."

D<Oh. In that case, I am a wild animal that just happens to talk. Like a parrot, or something.>

A"Um...thank you?"

E"Sometimes, you just have to know when to ask."

*Cameron and Biyomon start cleaning up, while Lunamon and Mr. Sorenson console Kylie*

*Eve goes back inside and turns on the shower*

Taiyo: "Or just stammer something out like I did."

They get to Taiyo's home, a two story house featuring a large hedge going around it in place of a fence, a dark blue SUV in the driveway.

Taiyo: "I guess dad's not home."

Presumably they take the box and its contents outside where it still smells something fierce. Confetti pops out of their garbage cans/bins/whatever.

She fiddles with her phone for a bit before handing it to Roatha, the camera function enabled.

Girl: "Think I can get a picture with....him?"

As she's showering she hears clown-like giggling.

*Eve hurriedly finishes her shower and puts on a bathrobe. Then she proceeds to start drying her hair*

*They head back inside*
