Episode Fourteen: Rain, After the Escape/Data Distortion

*Dianamon looks over at Raijimon, who has their arms crossed behind their back*

Raijimon:<...We have been here before as well. We wanted to tell you, but it never seemed like a good time.>

Ornismon:<Like...a capital "G" god or a lower case "g" god?>

SlashAngemon: "Whatever satisfies its delusions more. What matters is what's in the castle above, not some relic from long ago."

G<"What the Hell are you even talking about? Why do you have to be all snobby & cryptic? Why can't you just answer a simple question with a godsdamned explanation?!">

Dianamon:<Can we have this discussion somewhere else? We aren't getting anywhere and we're wasting energy.>

SlashAngemon: "The full story would be too long and it doesn't matter anymore."

Raijimon:<Gallantmon, we'll tell you what happened as soon as we defeat Millenniummon. We promise.>

G<"...How could this place have nothing to do with Millenniummon if it's in his castle? That doesn't make any sense.">

The stalagmites had to start somewhere and started somewhere they did. In Digimon Hell.

Assuming they're finally done #wastingtime20XX and return to where they came from, the atmosphere gets gradually less oppressing as they rise.

Gallantmon can hear a weak gargly voice saying they're keeping secrets.

*Gallantmon whirls around, brandishing her shield & lance.*

G<"What is that!? Who's there?!">

*Rosemon also stops, edging closer to her & looking around.*

Dianamon:<What's wrong?!>

Sakuyamon: "What is it? Are you okay?"

G<"I heard a voice, it says you guys are keeping secrets. Which is true, by the way.">

*She spares a sidelong glare at Azuma.*

Ornismon:<I completely agree with you, but let's not have this argument here.>

They don't trust you.

SlashAngemon: "Ignore it. That's how it gets to you. Invading your thoughts and preying on your insecurities."

G<"I am not insecure, & so far it just seems to be telling the truth!">

Dianamon:<Well, I'm going back to the castle.>

*She starts flying back, followed after a moment by Ornismon. Raijimon hesitates*

It'll be a long lonely flight. This time Ornismon gets to hear an unwanted voice taunting him about Kylie leaving him like he left her.

SlashAngemon remains silent as there's no point arguing with someone who didn't care about the events of Dark Ocean when they had initially transpired and sure as Hell won't care now.

Kill him. Show you have the power to defy his transgression.

*Gallantmon looks to the others, particularly Sakuyamon & Rosemon.*

G<"Don't you want to know what's going on here? It can't mean nothing that this is in Millenniummon's castle. If he won't tell us anything, I'm perfectly willing to go find out for myself.">

*Dianamon stops when she sees that the others aren't following. She crosses her arms and turns back to watch them*

Raijimon:<We are curious about this place as well, but if you are hearing voices trying to influence your actions, we should discuss this somewhere else.>

Sakuyamon: "Maybe there's a reason he doesn't want to."

G<"Yes, he's made pretty clear that he doesn't trust us. If there's something evil down here, why shouldn't we stay & deal with it?">

*She refocuses their gaze on Rosemon, who looks around nervously.*

A<"Uh--well, maybe some of us can stay down here, while the rest can go on ahead? Then we'll be sure we don't miss anything?">

Raijimon:<...I don't think we should separate.>

Kill him. Force the answers from him by your blade.

Sakuyamon: "Raijinmon's right. Bad things happen when we separate."

*Gallantmon steps forward, bunching up their shouldrs.*

G<"Then we should--!>

*She closes her eyes & breaths deeply, relaxing her shoulders & taking a step back before opening them again.*

G<"...Then we should investigate this together--instead of playing on stairs.">

Raijimon:<...We can always come back once we investigate the rest of the castle.>
